The Corvette C4 LT1 is one of the most underestimated performance cars of its time. Constantly improved throughout its production, the last four years (1992–1996) represent the peak of the development of the C4: faster, more reliable, and significantly more refined than the earlier models. The LT1 engine with 304 hp paired with the advanced Uniframe chassis, aluminum suspension components, and composite transverse springs provide a remarkable road feel at the wheel. Our 356 B T6 cabriolet was assembled by Reutter, the historic coachbuilder of Porsche whose workshops, located next to the brand's in Zuffenhausen, produced the majority of 356 coupe and cabriolet bodies between 1950 and 1963.

Its chassis number 155742 indicates it is one of the early 356 B T6 cabriolets. In fact, it falls at the beginning of the production range attributed to Reutter cabriolets, ranging from 155601 to 158700, totaling 3099 units. It was produced in late 1961 and first registered on March 15, 1962 in the United States.
