5,276,630 copies of the Renault 5 were produced. Production of the R5 stopped in December 1984, with the launch of the Super 5. However, to meet the demand for 5-door models not available in the Super 5, Renault decided to relaunch production of the R5 5-door, the Lauréate GTL!
The ephemeral 5 Lauréate models are distinguished by a specific presentation: bumpers, rear air extractor grilles and upper grille painted body color, side stripping, Fergat sport wheels (Alpine type).
Our copy is in original condition, free of corrosion, preserved and only totaling 35,117 km!
Here is one of the last R5s produced, in a condition that will delight even the most demanding enthusiasts.
