Fiat
850 Spider Vignale
Dolce Vita!
In the 1950s and 1960s, Carrozzeria Vignale was part of the very exclusive circle of Italian master car designers. Ferrari, Maserati, Lancia, Fiat, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, as well as Aston Martin, Triumph, De Tomaso, Cunningham, AMC, Matra, Jensen, and Ford entrusted their chassis to them to create unique cars, often produced in very small series.
The Fiat 850 Spider Vignale is no exception. Produced from 1964 to 1969 in just under 1000 units, it is obviously much rarer than its counterpart from Bertone, distinguishable by its very luxurious approach: wooden dashboard, chrome wheel arches and running boards, Vignale logos in various places, padded trunk, convertible top that disappears completely behind the passenger seat. A Maserati treatment for an adorable little Fiat. And last but not least: the rear bench is far from ridiculous and can easily accommodate two children, or two not too bulky adults, as shown in the brochure, which precisely matches the example offered.
Our Vignale 850 has been entirely and meticulously restored in Italy by an old Fiat lover wizard. With incredible care for a popular car.
As it passes by, heads turn and smiles appear on faces. Just like the one you will have behind the wheel, fully immersed in the Dolce Vita.
